The food here is very good and it is a comfortable fun environment (the signs across the restaurant are so funny). Out timing may have been off as two large tables were sat right before us and that caused a delay but the staff was very accommodating and brought us beverages !
Recommended by a colleague and it did not disappoint. The roast beef was delicious with an abundance of yorkshire puddings and the lemon posset dessert to die for. Highly recommended and will be back. The only negative was the coffee which we had to send back twice, too weak think you need to get your machine replaced!
What a quiet little gem of a pub. Food to die for , relaxed atmosphere and friendly informed staff. Would highly recommend a visit .
My daughters and I had been on holiday and it was our last night, I read the reviews for the Royal Oak and as it was close to the campsite booked a table, the food was freshly cooked and presented well, it was a perfect end to our holiday.
