Waack's Stawell Bakery

Well I thought I would try the lamb shank in red wine sauce today for morning tea. Well with out a word of lie this pie was nothing more than a corn flour gravy mush. I don't know what the hell it even was. I'm so so disappointed I paid $5.80 for it. I will never be going back to this place again. I went to the same bakery in horsham last month and the pie there was absolutely appalling as well. The add on the radio makes out it is a good place to eat, so far from the truth is this add. Put some meat in the pies some day and I might go back. All you get at the moment is ripped off.

Every time I go to a battery I get the pepper steak pie. Waacks battery was the best I have had so far. Heaps of meat with just the right amount of pepper. Excellent service as well. Would highly recommend going there.

I got one of their Award winning Vanilla Slice and it was amazing and I also got a cake to have for desert as it was my partners birthday that day

I got there at 1.45 and the selection of what was lefed was a bit ordinary ,and dried out,the person at the counter was not that interested,I don't think there will be a next time.

This bakery offers good value takeaway for lunch and many of the cakes, etc, looked delicious. Wish we had stayed longer so that we could have tried more.
