I drive from Salem to get their sandwiches. An absolute favorite
I had a gluten free bun, veggie sandwich add Turkey for lunch from here and oh my word my mouth is still watering! It was absolutely delicious, I loved the gluten free chip options AND rice krispy treat! The gal that helped us was so incredibly kind and understood cross contamination without me having to explain it to her. This place is the BEST!!! My dad and my almost two year old enjoyed it as well, so it’s meant for all ages. It took a little bit of time to make but they were swamped inside and had a line behind me (that someone went out and started taking orders like DB does). Seriously the best customer service.
I was excited to try this because there aren't many Big Town Hero's around anymore, but I was disappointed. The building is really gross the floor looks like it hasn't been mopped in a while, it's very cluttered, the soda machine is dirty, there's papers taped everywhere and the menu is crooked and falling off. The food was subpar, could've made better at home. The staff was kind and tried hard, but they knew very little about the menu, were unable to answer many of my questions, and seemed like the system isn't set up well for them to succeed. I won't be back.
I like the food, but the prices are quite a bit too high. $4.25 for a 20 oz bottled Pepsi? That's price gouging. : I can get that literally at any store for less than HALF that price. You can get more, a LOT more, for your money at Subway
