Fey Asian - Stayton

My mother-in-law and I always visit this restaurant whenever we have a doctor's appointment nearby. The young family that runs the place does an excellent job and genuinely pays attention to their regular customers. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, though the seating could use some updating. The menu is standard fare, except for one standout dish: their almond fried chicken, which features deep-fried chicken pieces that surpass even the egg foo young. It’s incredible! We also really enjoy their kung pao chicken, available in various spice levels.

I really appreciate that they don't use MSG, and the ingredients always taste incredibly fresh! The staff is very friendly, and the service is excellent. Overall, it's just fantastic!

The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Although they are currently only open for takeout, it's definitely worth the trip to pick it up! Our family always returns and has consistent experiences every time!

Do not listen to the negative reviews about this place. The food and service was exceptional! The server informed me that a cook (the owner) in the back of the time they open until they close. He makes everything up from scratch, and you can really say in the quality of food. Everything was so colorful and freshly chopped. I love Chinese food that has a lot of fresh vegetables in it. It did not have typical “from the box” big buffet style restaurants. The portions were huge! Not sure why people complain about the portion sizes. I eat a lot, and for $25, I have 3 different to go portions of food that feed 2 for 2 separate meals. Nice to find a solid food spot in Stayton. I'm definitely back.

This place is good. They are by far the best American-chinese food in the area, I've tried them all. Great family atmosphere, completely quiet if no one is eating in there. Always consistent. Sometimes people that play the lottery in the bar portion are obnoxious but besides for that, a well rounded Chinese restaurant!
