Decent breakfast. But the least friendly servers ever. They make you feel like you are part of an assembly line
There is nothing better than enjoying a delicious two-egg breakfast with toast, home fries, crispy bacon, coffee, and fruit for $8.50 at noon on a Saturday. The service provided by Jo-Anne was excellent and added to the overall experience. If you're still hungry, you can also order a side of extra lean Montreal Smoked Meat to share.
The key to dining at this restaurant is to stick with the smoked beef and fries. They are good. However, I made the mistake of trying the French Onion Soup and it was inedible (a restaurant can be judged by its French Onion Soup, and I recommend taking it off the menu). The fish in my Fish and Chips was not completely thawed out. Another guest's salad had bland iceberg lettuce. Two other guests wisely chose the smoked beef and enjoyed their meal. Overall, this restaurant is not worth a visit with so many other good options in the area.
As someone who is from Montreal, their smoked meat is not very good. They make an okay club sandwich, and the portions are large. Service is average, but the inside is pretty neatly decorated.
