R Family Mercantile - Steamboat Springs

I visited this adorable little cozy spot while in Hayden and decided to customize my own burger with sautéed onions, mushrooms, American gruyère cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It was absolutely delicious, and the fries were fantastic as well. They also offer some uniquely named beers on tap; a friend of mine had the Laughing Lab. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

This restaurant boasts a fantastic selection of tasty burgers, as well as some additional menu items. The standout feature is the thin shoestring French fries, which can be upgraded to poutine. Although the prices are somewhat elevated and the location is a bit quirky at the end of a new upscale shopping center, I found it to be a delightful surprise during my travels.

I’ve seen some negative reviews about this restaurant, but I genuinely don’t understand what the critics are saying. The food is amazing, the portions are ample, and they offer the best poutine you’ll find outside of Canada! The vibe is relaxed, and the prices are fair. The staff is welcoming and polite. It’s truly a local gem that makes you feel at home. I would absolutely recommend it!

The bartender was fantastic, and the food was exactly what I was craving! I really enjoyed their happy hour.
