The Bair is a unique restaurant that is also a living museum. It is located in a historic building that is filled with very cool old stuff, making you feel like you are back in the early 1900s. The restaurant has a wide variety of food options, including lots of gluten-free choices. Everything is made to order and delicious. The Bair is a great place to check out and experience. We will definitely be coming back here whenever we are in the area. Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options available that made my celiac girlfriend very happy.
Very simple very interesting place the food is great I had a huckleberry Italian soda that was delicious. Clam chowder was delicious and old fashioned candy that they make .
I recommend eating before you come. Expect to be here for 1.5 to 2 hours. I was told I had to get on the waitlist to be seated, which is fine. It was just weird because the place was only half full. I came back after it had been well past time, and I was seated. We got our food after sitting in a half-full restaurant for about an hour. Food is great, service not so much. It’s like, they don’t really care if you come here or not. Or like they want to deter you from coming in. It’s so strange. If you’re not in a rush, this is a great place to come. But if you have under an hour and a half, maybe go elsewhere.
It was a bit warm inside. Food was good service was good . I'll be back for sure close to home.clean
