Idyllic place. Very nice operation. Coffee and cake very delicious at normal prices.

I've been living here in the area for more than 10 years. But we were the first time in the Bergmannsklause. The environment is very worth seeing. The garden is embedded as a small botanical garden in an imposing historical mining scene. The building itself was created very lovingly. Those who like it quietly and comfortably are here. The food is excellent. From the Bergmannsklause you can hike the region around Sonneberg and Lauscha, so south of the Rennsteig. In times of the Borkenkäfer, the nearby peaks offer very beautiful views.

Very good kitchen, nets, friendly staff. Landscape and surroundings super. A visit is worthwhile.

Very good food, cozy ambience, only the table lighting a little too grell. Outside the small park is super well-maintained and very worth seeing for big and small, also because of the beautiful animal enclosure. All in all a great excursion destination.
