They have good pizzas. Before the pandemic, we used to dine in there at least once a month. Prices are reasonable and the folks are friendly. Service is not too bad. But, it got to a point where we could hardly finish our portions and although we could always bring the leftovers home, it just did not make sense anymore to eat so frequently out, in general. What I appreciate about La Fontana is that it is really quick to order pizzas to go. You call and they will be ready in 15 minutes. It is a short drive to Steinsel so takeaway pizzas are practical for us when I don't feel like cooking. In addition, they make pizza marinara which suits my daughter as she is a vegan. The only time I was unhappy with them was when they mixed up orders. I asked for a marinara and was given a margarita. Well, for someone who is a vegan, cheese is a big no no. Regrettably, I did not verify the takeaway pizzas before leaving the restaurant although the receipt indicated they got my orders right. It was their mistake, totally. So I drove all the way back again to have it changed. They did say that we can keep the bungled up order, but who would eat it anyways, so I brought it back. Moral of the story: always check your order before leaving the premises.
