Had a great experience at Hazendal. Variety of activities for kids adults. They have put-put (mini golf) with 3 x 9 holes (3 different difficulties). Driving range to have some fun and a full 18 hole Par 3 golf course A collection of vintage vehicles are also on display. Overall a great wine farm to explore within 30 minutes from Cape Town. Their newly built Hotel Spa will definitely be worth visiting.
Aw man!! This place is so stunning , pictures don’t do it Justice. The staff are so customer centric and very pleasant to engage with . Tried out “the Burrow” had a fantastic time The bar and cigar lounge are something you really need to experience. Keep it up team
Well kept estate. Friendly and competent staff. There is an edutainment centre for the kids which is very professionally run, from needing codes to fetch your kids to them automatically sending you an email of a picture of your child when they first go in. Very impressive. The gardens are beautiful and there is a massive lawn you can picnic on. You can do wine testing as well as high tea, but I believe you'll need to book in advance. Great place to spend a lazy Sunday.
My aunt and I had the most tremendous experience at The Hazendal Tea Ceremony. Joseph was the absolute best he knew everything about the tea ceremony and explained everything beautifully. The food and teas were delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The location is an easy drive from Cape Town, and the property is breathtaking. Highly recommended to anybody who is considering a visit!
