Java Bistro - Stellenbosch

We visited in February 2023 and looking for the menu displayed at the entrance, it did not look very vegan, but there were vegetarian options available that we could veganize. Once we were set and the menus were given, it turned out that there are good vegan options (pizza, pasta, starter). I got no chance to take photos of the menu, but the pasta we had was vegan mushroom thyme cream pasta and vegan curry pasta that were very beautiful and well presented.

Pair of vegan options available throughout the regular menu. Food is decent, but nothing special.

I was here a few times and the food is amazing. I tried the vegan bowl that was very good, but a small part. I give 3 stars, because for Dessert I tried the Belgian waffles, which were very dry and the chocolate sauce bought a delicious shop and cold. This is a shame, because the chocolate sauce served with the brownie is delicious and made at home... All other foods and desserts are amazing, but definitely worth a visit! Shared a wonderful birthday breakfast with my dad with a nice big almond milk coffee! Service and food were great and there were more options for dinner or lunch that looked super will go back to try them sometime. Bread was absolutely delicious freshly baked every morning.
