This charming little restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is fantastic, and despite the challenges of this year, they truly make the best of a tough situation. I plan to visit regularly and would definitely recommend it to others.

A little busy and understated, but they did well. I've been eating her chicken steak for 20 years. Always the best. Got the little dorothy, half-sized chicken fried steak, that was the perfect size for me. The salad that came with him was much bigger than I needed. You could definitely share it.

The food and service were outstanding at this restaurant. The staff really know their craft! We enjoyed everything, from the biscuits to the cakes.

Jake and Dorothy's us an old style cafe that was originally opened in the 1950's or earlier. It is a basis cafe with the old time atmosphere. The breakfast I had was very good and service was pleasant and quick. It is a popular place with locals so expect to see a busy place but they were very good with the appropriate social distancing. It's a great place for an old style cafe.
