Firehouse Subs 16 And Van Dyke

I enjoy the subs, but I found the service to be unsatisfactory. The staff appeared unfriendly and seemed to look down on customers. I won't be returning.

The customer service here is excellent, and the food is always fresh. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!

I've been visiting this firehouse for about three years now, and I believe they might have new management because my last four visits have been outstanding. I've tasted some of the best, well-presented subs I've ever had. The staff member who prepared them really deserves recognition, though I don’t know his name yet. I'll be sure to find out next time and give him a shout-out—he definitely deserves it!

That used to be a great restaurant. it was operated by outstanding, intelligent individuals. I could be wrong, but I think it was bought recently. it is now flew by unhappy people. I'm pretty sure they spit in my food. every time I go in there to pick up or order, they are always on their handy and have very bad attitudes.

We were looking for a place to get something simple for a late supper to take back to our hotel, we live 7 hours away. After checking several places on yelp, we decided on this place, most places were closing at 9pm and it was around 8:50. This Sterling Heights location showed a closing time of 10pm on yelp. We drove to the location only to find the open sign not on. There was a worker inside and lights on, we thought maybe they forgot to turn the sign off. So we tried the door, it was locked. The hours posted on the door said 10. I get that places close early sometimes, but then update the hours on yelp or your website. Disappointing to pick a place and then drive there only for it to be closed, especially when traveling and relying on sites like yelp to help you out. So don't bother wasting your drive, this place may not be open.
