Hamburger was good.. service was excellent. They were closing in 30 minutes and the woman cleaning up never made us feel rushed but was more than willing to take our plates and such when we were done. I hadn't been there in a while and decided to treat my boys to their first time. It was a good choice.
The texture and flavor of the 1/2 pound beef burger was sensational. Typical fries... I did not like the seasoning so they replaced the fries with regular. Definitely will return.
Menu has changed post pandemic. I always went for the turkey burger but that's no longer an option. New burgers and full menu are available online. Fries are just as delicious, spiced and fluffy inside as ever. Condiment bar is plentiful, fresh and probably the best bonus to coming. Bathrooms were clean. Tables are cleared immediately and staff was friendly. While lighting is dim, it isn't very sensory friendly with all the neon light to their credit, there is a lot less than before but still present. Tables were spaced out for social distancing too.
This is one of our go-to places for dinner. They are very quick and have delicious food. I'm gluten free and don't eat beef so I always get their grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun with extra cheese and it's always delicious. Their add ons are pricy so it's cheaper to just get their menu items as is. Very clean and cool 1950s diner atmosphere. I highly recommend for a good, fast burger in a place that's clean and kid friendly. They even are offering a new vegan option that's very good too!
