On the bright side, the customer service was excellent, with both the gentleman and lady in the back being very friendly. I plan to come back and try more dishes from the menu while I'm in Sterling.
The service at their food truck is excellent! They regularly come to our school for events and always respond quickly. Additionally, they serve up delicious food in no time!
We went to the restaurant on a Wednesday evening and discovered it to be a very calm atmosphere. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by the delightful street truck decor! I ordered the pupusas stuffed with pork and cheese, and they had an ideal balance of both fillings, along with just the right amount of dough. My favorite dish was the steak taco; the tortilla was crispier than it looked, and the meat was cooked excellently! Our food was served in about 10 minutes. All in all, it's a charming little place for a quick meal during the week!
The sausages, chicharrón, yuca, tortas, and pupusas are all outstanding! I also sampled the pollo con crema, and it was delicious. The portions are quite generous! My only issue was that the chorizo in the tacos was a bit dry, but the other tacos were fairly good.
El Chef Latino LLC has come a long way since my initial visit. The staff is outstanding at accommodating special requests from the menu, and they prepare dishes with such attention to detail and quality that it's well worth stopping by for lunch or dinner. This restaurant is situated in Sterling, VA, directly across from the new DMV. Although it may feel a bit tucked away in a small section of the shopping center with limited parking, surrounded by a Subway, a Chinese restaurant, and a Hispanic bakery, it truly stands out.
