Spice Of India - Stevenage

After reading positive reviews on Just Eat, we decided to order takeaway from this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The various curries we ordered all tasted very similar and had a strange, unpleasant flavor. The lamb was also very fatty and grisly. We will not be returning to this restaurant and do not recommend it to others.

Following a recommendation, we decided to order takeout from this restaurant. The online ordering system had some issues at first, but after a phone call, we were able to confirm our order. The delivery was fast, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and had just the right amount of spice. Overall, we were impressed with the food and delivery time, despite the difficulty with the online system. We would recommend this place.

The customer service at Spice of Indian is excellent, from taking the order to the friendly delivery driver. We have ordered from this takeaway three times to write this review and have always received hot food that arrives earlier than expected. In the past 30 years, we have dined in many restaurants both here and abroad, as well as ordering takeaways across the country. I would give Spice of Indian a 5+ rating as the food is amazing. The chef clearly knows how to cook, from the starters to the main dishes, with the Saag Paneer being particularly outstanding. I will definitely be ordering from here regularly - what a fantastic find! I believe if Spice of Indian were to open a restaurant, they would be very successful. I will be recommending them to all my friends. Thank you from a satisfied customer.
