The service is excellent and there are many other restaurants nearby in case the pub doesn't interest you. It was nice to see a few locals enjoying their visit, which is always a good sign.
Today, the food at the restaurant was excellent. It was the first time I have ever finished a plate at Wetherspoons and said "Wow, that was tasty." Well done to everyone. I had the 10oz gammon with baked potato. I was looking forward to apple crumble and custard, but unfortunately, there was no custard.
Went here for a drink with friends on Sunday evening whilst staying at the hotel next door. Didn’t realise that it was a Wetherspoon pub but it wasn’t busy and the lounge area was relaxing and clean. The cost of drinks were amazingly cheap and I was happy that there was a great pint of Adnams Broadstairs at more than half the price of usual pubs and well kept. The only downside was after a couple of beers we had some sharing platters that were not great and not good value. Just stick with drinks and be happy . The staff were happy and efficient
Here after an event in the opposite order per app. the food arrived quickly. one was hot, he was cold. halfway through my meal, I found our drinks still standing on the bar. there are free 3 hours parking to walk. my man enjoyed his meal.
Beautiful place, occupied the usual wetherspoons, coffee in paper cups forgot a meal except that we enjoyed our visit and I loved the price.
