The owner is a nice guy who often chats up his guests at the ordering station. The vibe is a little tense but the food is worth the awkwardness.

Update 12 23 2023. My wife and I met our great friends for lunch. To say amazing is an understatement! 100 stars is what this place deserves. I had a 2 meat special with burnt ends and Turkey. I started off with brisket chili, which was fabulous with huge chunks of Brisket. I took home 70 of my lunch. I had the fried green tomatoes and the onion rings. Great. The cornbread grwat. My wife had the prime rib dip with Grandma's green beans. Fantastic! Our friends both had burnt end sandwiches, one with broccoli, and the other had green beans as well. We were able to sit quietly and enjoy our time together as well. The best BBQ in Ravalli Missoula County by far. I will post photos! If you love BBQ, this is the best place! Wow! The BBQ is absolutely fantastic! I had the burnt ends with the chicken! Wowwwwwww! Then the Jalapeño Corn bread! Wowwwww! The burnt ends literally melt in your mouth. Great portion! Then the smoked chicken was amazing. They give you honey butter for the Coen bread as well. I got the spicy sauce as I love super hot. It

Love this place, great people great food, my entire family enjoys eating at Moose Creek BBQ. The bugers, ribs, chicken, brisket, fried ocra, french fries, pulled pork sandwich, everything I've tried has been great. Their sweet tea is legit too!!

Best BBQ in Montana. I travel to the Carolina’s and Texas a lot for work, so I get to sample great BBQ frequently. This place is up there with anything I’ve tried.

Was very disappointing especially since our ticket was a very amount and nothing really special .. ..like with a lot of other Restaurants here in the Bitterroot valley the Prices have gone up the quality, portions, customer service are down. I don't mind paying more since the economy we are living in makes hard these days to keep up..I am all about supporting small,and local Businesses..but have a difficult time when service food and not even having silverware to eat my dinner with only plastic cutlery and bussing my own table for the hefty price they charge.
