Yet again we presented ourselves at the restaurant for food. As always plenty of choices to consider and even with my food restrictions I still had choices particularly the amount of different soup flavers. I opted for the broth. I also chose a cheese burger with relish and coleslaw on the side. Also chose refillable irn bru glass. The soup was large portion with a lovely homemade flavour. The burger came out shortly after it had a real butchers flavour to it. Really enjoyed all my choices and would recommend to anyone. Will definetely keep coming back.
I love the whisky shop here. It’s one of the best in a Scotland but in the shop it’s daylight robbery. £2.35 for a standard red bull. Puts night club prices to shame. £1.15 for a standard Mars bar. Get in the sea.
On our way to fort william we had our usual pit stop. Again we were not disappointed. As expected our food was of the highest standard. I ordered scotch broth soup on the way up and indulged in the full flavour of every spoonful, the chef has created a wholesome stock flavour complementing the ingredients. I opted to try the carrot cake and made a good choice. It had a lovely home made flavour moist and a sweet topping. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and highlight their range of quality soups. Will definitely keep going back. Had more than one sitting as returned couple of days later for another business trip to fort william. Had **** a leekie soup that day with a flapjack and piece of carrot cake. Flapjack was best I have ever tasted. Looking to the next return journey already.
Stopped off of my way up to The Highlands and again on the way back down. Food was good and the service provided by the young gentleman operating the till was excellent, he even remembered serving me 5 days earlier. A must stop off.
