Savoury House Chinese Cuisine

When the first was opened a few years ago, I went there eagerly. I made a serious mistake in choosing the buffet, which was least impressive. But I always heard people who really enjoy it. You said order from the menu, ignore the buffet. So last week we did. Special fried rice, shrimp curry and honey garlic ribs were for my loved ones and me plentiful. We had to wait for 45 minutes, they were so busy on Thursday! That tells you something. The food was hot and delicios, the best Chinese meal we had in a long time. To check that this was not a fuke, we were drinking again a week later and added beef chow mine. To be honest, it was too much food, but again it was delicious. We will finally be served regularly in our little town food we enjoy!

The best Chinese food in the Quinte region! We've been there for 10 years and our family of five loves it! Everything is well prepared, but we especially love her sesame chicken!

This is my way to Chinese food. The food is always well done and has a lot of taste. They can adapt to those of us who cannot have MSG in their food. The Singapore Curry noodles with only shrimps, is my favorite or... the Veg lo mine. Yummy and my husband love their chicken balls and paprika.

For whatever reason it becomes more and more difficult to find large Chinese dishes in the Belleville area. Many of the best are gone and so we are looking for excellent Chinese food. That brought me to Savoury House. We... chased the cash register, and while it didn't blow my socks, it was very good. The Mandel Guy thing was excellent, and the garlic ribs were also great. But the chicken fried rice and the chicken choy mien and chicken balls were best on average. Shall we go back? Probably, but especially because where else there is, without driving 2 hours for Chinese food!!

To be honest I have not eaten “in” the restaurant, but it is our go to place for Chinese takeout. The won ton and hot and sour soups are both amazing. Lots of flavour, very fresh and a generous portion. Love the egg rolls and...the side dishes are all prepared fresh with crisp and colourful ingredients. The owners are very nice. The food is ready on time and is packaged to stay hot until you are home.
