It was 5:30 ish on a Thursday night. The place was virtually empty. Apparently, the popular night of the week here is Friday, when there's all you can eat fresh fish chips. We each ordered a dinner, and had enough to take home for a lunch the next day. I got the fish clam strips and hubby got the 12 oz. prime rib plus au jus, steamed veggies and mashed potato. Our waiter was on the ball and very friendly. It was quite dark in there, but we were able to read the menus. Chunky, sturdy chairs and booths. We parked on the main drag but there is parking right in front of the place.
Very inconsistent, don't go on Medinas night, because the cook doesn't care about quality. Didn't even have Medinas food, because I know better, I had what I've had every time I've been there and it was not good! Don't do it! Too pricey for the quality and selection of food.
So I wish to update my previous review. Wow what a awesome change, aparently the ower threw out the old management and staff out and closed this restaurant for a restart!!! The wife and I decided lets be adventurous and try it Now. To begin we did not stick to the tables as previously and the restaurant did not smell of 30 day old deep fryers gease! Staff was pleasant friendly and courteous and very attentive. And yes we no longer see waitresses outside the front of the restaurant yelling at people with EHH EHHH! So we ordered a burger and fries, mine medium the wife well done.... yuck to my wife. Lol, it did take a little longer than I liked to recieve But my burger was perfect medium in the middle. And they say Mcdonalds has the best french fries.... bull the fries were much better here. Congrats to the owner, we, 'll be back, cant wait for you to recieve your beer and wine license. Great job on staff, cleaning and the wecominging service we recieved. Please send me that email when the wine comes in to serve, I feel comfident your new staff will know the difference of a cabernet and a chardonnay. To all that read this lets give them a Try!
