Contribuisci feedbackI went down to notify the front desk, and here's where my main frustration began: I was told there was nothing they could do since the hotel was fully booked. I can only imagine your surprise mirrored mine. I explained that this situation was unacceptable because I was itching all over and worried about my luggage becoming infested with these unidentified bugs. Returning to my room to move my things to the car, I entered full panic mode. As I turned on all the lights to ensure I gathered everything, countless bugs started scurrying in all directions, prompting me to scream. I hastily grabbed as many bags as I could and rushed back to the front desk, likely appearing quite distressed. I insisted that we needed a solution immediately because I would not stay in that room. After packing up my belongings, I was shown another room that was under construction, which meant no air conditioning or functioning shower—but at least it was bug-free. Unfortunately, this chaotic ordeal left me shaken for the nine-hour drive I had ahead, just five hours after arriving in my pest-free room. I am still waiting to hear back from the manager regarding this situation. I did attempt to contact corporate, but after a three-hour call that was interrupted and eventually disconnected, I still have no resolution. Thus, all I can do now is share my experience in hopes it might help others. This is the first time I've encountered such a problem during my travels, so I understand it's likely rare, yet I cannot fathom that anyone thought I would just accept it. Everyone I’ve told has been equally disturbed by the situation. I truly hope someone can learn from this. As a side note, I noticed there is a gated area for parking, but the gate was never down, which left me uncertain whether it was broken or if there was no secure parking available.
I highly recommend taking advantage of all the hosting and banquet services offered by this exceptional, well-run establishment. I've had the pleasure of working with Ms. McNeal for the past four years, and the management team consistently prioritizes customer satisfaction. The sales manager is truly outstanding! Our church organization has a great appreciation for HIE Stockbridge.
A family member was staying at the hotel, so my family and I went to visit them. We found both the outside and inside to be very clean. We had no issues during our visit and enjoyed our time together. The room was well-organized and tidy. I'm happy that our family chose this place. We would have liked to stay longer, but it was just a quick visit.
Nice practical hotel if you are in town for business and planning to stay for more than a week. The food is splendid. The hotel has very professional and courteous chefs specially Chef Casy. I highly recommend her salmon special when you are around. It was so delicious I I ate it before I took a picture of it ?
I loved my room. I believe it's a suite with a king bed and sofa bed. Service is great. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Room is clean. I was staying here while looking for housing as I'm moving to the area. Truthfully the only issue I had was that my room key seemed to clear every two days. I stayed on the fifth floor and I don't use the elevator and it took me a few times of going back downstairs before I started to check my key before going upstairs. I kept it in an RFID protected sleeve and didn't let it touch my cell phone and the key would still deactivate every other day. I was there for 14 days . That was annoying but there are worse things going on in the world. This is a clean hotel with friendly, professional stay and I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend it if you are in the area and prefer IHG for your hotel rewards!
