I also couldn't get enough of the corn side dish. Would definitely come back again! Additionally, the climate control in our 15th-century cabin worked perfectly.
I enjoy dining at this restaurant, however, the service staff is disappointing. The bartenders are particularly awful. On my recent visits, I have encountered either an older, very short woman with gray hair who is slow, inattentive, confused, overwhelmed, and rude, or a younger black woman with curly hair who is even worse. They neglected our table, failing to refill our wine and water glasses, while they were preoccupied with their phones or chatting with men. It was clear that the staff was prioritizing their own enjoyment over customer service. The bartender was rude, slow, unprofessional, and appeared to be untrained. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. It is expected for a bartender to be busy and attentive to customers, but she failed to do so. The bar was dirty and disorganized, and the new menu is disappointing. Overall, the service here is terrible and I will not be returning until they address these issues. Avoid this place primarily because of the poor staff.
I felt like I paid too much for three small plates. My mother used to work as a waitress and bartender at the Den for years, so I grew up eating her delicious food that I have always loved. However, the lamb meatballs were dry and cold, the galettes were mediocre and expensive at $14 per order, and the French onion soup, which is usually my favorite, was barely edible. The service was average, but I think it was mainly due to the uncomfortable seating and lackadaisical posture of the staff. Overall, I left feeling unhappy and disappointed.
I was in the lions that often differ from home visits in the berkshires during the house. it can be expensive, but it has its mood with the live music and signature cocktails. it is an older building and the bar is located under the gasthof, steep staircase down into a cellar/cave like room, rich in history and just cool to be in. the barkeepers are always friendly and they can just come every night for live music and take a place at the bar or a table. large amount of visitors who want to enjoy the music.
Decent beer and cocktail list, live music Friday and Saturday nights.
