Waffle House - Stockbridge

Smiley is absolutely fantastic! They provide a level of service that rivals many upscale restaurants. I truly hope Waffle House recognizes what a gem they have in Smiley. In fact, everyone at the restaurant was friendly. My review might come across as overly positive, but it's important to consider your experience in comparison to other Waffle Houses and similar establishments, rather than high-end steakhouses like those at the Four Seasons. We were warmly greeted upon entering, and the restaurant was clean. The service was excellent (thanks to Smiley again), and the food was truly delicious.

Rude Security. We entered the restaurant, but the security asked us to wait outside until the staff returned from their break, during which they were all in a car smoking marijuana. When the workers finally came back, one of them forgot our order completely. They only remembered two out of three of our drinks. We asked for straws as a reminder. Then, the female cook barely cooked the bacon on the grill for about two seconds. They served us a patty melt without the burger, and it was still raw. This was the worst experience ever at Volley Park! I hope it improves!

Waffle House remains consistent as ever. While they've raised their prices and reduced the menu selection, you can still expect the same friendly service. The restaurant has recently undergone renovations. It's a great spot for meat lovers, especially if you're a fan of ham and bacon.

They roasted the place, changed the staff, but it's still a hot GETTO mess. You go in no one recognizes you for over ten minutes, it is evil and its very unorganized. The only good in this place was the cook, he wore a mask while cooking and washes his hands several times.

Good food ,friendly service since 1955. Based on my experience it?s not going to be around much longer...... Dirty is an understatement.The health dept can?t inspect this place to soon. The waffle irons were gross with old batter oozing to the floor. Employee clothing stained.Food very standard by any measure. Coffee tasted like dishwater. Parking lot loaded with broken glass.(Perhaps beer bottles) Be careful.... This chain has seen better days. AWARDED 1 YUM ON A SCALE OF 3
