Barobao caught our eye, we peaked in the window, read the humourous 'Welcome ' sign, and thought the food was very creative, so we gave it a shot. It was packed inside, which is easy because the dining area is quite small. Our server helped us understand the nature of the sandwiches. We ordered 3 sandwiches, 1 soup, and 2 coffees. The sandwiches are artwork in themselves and were very yummy. Down side is they are small...maybe 10cm (4 wide....but cost about 6.50 Euros each. When the soup arrived I was surprised at how little there was in the bottom of the bowl. There was very little broth but maybe that 's the way it 's supposed to be. It, too, was very good and spicy HOT! I felt it was over-priced at about 8.50 Euros for such a small portion. We ordered two french press coffees but only got one small french press and two cups. Not sure if they meant it that way (two servings but in one press or simply forgot the other. We did get two cups out of it. The ambiance is fun, eclectic, and cozy. My favorite was the bathroom, but I won 't give it away here...you 'll just go have to check it out yourselves!!! All in all, it was a good experience but a bit pricey at 35 Euros for the small amount we had.
Ate dinner here after a recommendation for my colleagues for a good Asian place in Stockholm. It was great, especially the pork bao. I wish they had more options of bao, I had two pork bao, and a chicken slider. The chicken slider was ok, but the pork bao was really good. The staff were super nice, the location is very cozy, and I would go back if I want pork bao again, no doubt. Recommended, but I feel more options of bao would be a great opportunity for the restaurant going forward to give more options.
Barobao has a variety of Baos and other dishes. My favorite was the noodle soup with squid, it had layers of flavors bursting through. The egg dish was flavourful. The salmon dish although smaller than I expected left me wanting more. The chicken bao was tounge tickling good. Sake was a new experience too. A nice place to spend an evening with friends.
A friend and I, while walking, feel hungry. And we stopped in Barobao we ordered two ramen and two buns with meat. The ramen was very good and tasty, but the egg did not convince us, while the buns were really good. The only negative is for the portions. For the cost of everything I think the portion is definitely too small. I recommend it for dinners with friends.
Highly recommended. if they enjoy Chinese style steamed rolls or have never tried, they will enjoy their eating. the pork bell has similar aromen as peking duck. The Tofu-Buo and Mushroom-Buo are amazing. good quality ingredients. great service. I have a free baby because you're back. try this place
