Lokes - Stockholm

We wanted a cheaper place to eat and Lokes Bar was a good option I believe. For 170 SEK I ate a Köttbullar out of veal meat, which was an interesting experience and makes it special about the place. The only thing that bothered me were the guests... but what else would I expect from a bar?

Wonderful! Dogs everywhere. Who cares about the food when there are dogs all around the place. Some sleeping. Some with tongues hanging. But beautiful dogs. Food is ok. Service is very good. Extra plus for having Maredsous beer. And then there are the dogs.

Some readers of this may be old enough to remember a legendary Stockholm restaurant on Karduansmakargatan called Old Fashion. It was just that; old fashioned quality with tasty food, reasonable prices and an amicable ambiance of people enjoying their lives together. Lokes Bar is equally unassuming on the exterior, and I think they really hold the gauntlet forward from Old Fashion as a top local restaurant where I want to be again, and again. I had a fabulous reunion of old Old Fashion regulars and other friends at Lokes last night. We all devoured the Biff Rydberg and agreed that the food was stunningly good.

Best restaurant I tried it on lagerholm! good service, toast scale, amazing meatballs and meats! strongly recommended

A very picturesque place, classic local pub in the possession of a Swedish sportsman, famous in which there is not much to see and not too much to choose, but the charm is there in full.
