Mister French - Stockholm

First time we visited the restaurant and their brunch. We had booked 8 seats but on our way in to the restaurant 2 friends called and said that they had gotten some stomach bug. The butler gave us a scolding for not contacting them earlier. I told her that we just found out that 2 friends couldn't come because of a stomach bug. but she continued to argue and tell me that they calculate how much food will be prepared and that she wouldnt have that many staff working if it wasnt for our booking. After that it was hard to enjoy the experience. I will never go there again.

Lovely terrace with sea view, cosy sofas and you can choose to seat in sunlight or shade. Service in bar was bit too cool for us.

We went to Mister French primarily to get out the rain for a bit and were pleasantly surprised! The venue is lovely and we had a table in the bar area overlooking the water. The cocktails are fantastic, highly recommend the rhubarb coconut and coconut lime. The service was fantastic and so friendly. We went about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite quiet in the bar, but the restaurant was packed. We will definitely return when we are next in Stockholm.

Been quite a few times to Mister French but mostly for the brunch. This time we came for dinner and we had tasty cocktails and shared some platters with different meat. Everything was really good and we had such a service-minded waitress. We started off with some oysters and finished the meal with dessert, one which was the french toast with strawberries and ice cream, it is a must try. True indulgency! I love the atmosphere here, regardless if it is winter or summer.

OMG! What **** food and service! Waited over one hour for a mediocre T-bone steak and three langoustines which (meat and shell fish arrived over-cooked and tasteless. Complained to manager, she brought two more ‘mushy’ langoustines (recently defrosted? . Bread was heated up stale bread. Manager offered empty apologies but did nothing to compensate for a dreadful meal and dining experience. Not even a gesture of a free coffee or dessert. Pathetic! The cost of this nightmare meal? £230. We’re idiots for not just walking out but no one does that, do they? Avoid like the plague?
