Love to go to wagamama since they have a full vegan menu with lots of options. Easy ordering through QR codes, although free tea and water need to be ordered through staff.
You have to order from a qr-code by the table which sure is comfortable but not very easy when wanting to ask some questions about the menu. I was in a group of friends and the app said to order within maximum 2 mins apart to get the food at the same time, but everything still got out randomly and some of us had to wait for just too long. They also kept on forgetting to bring our drinks. However we enjoyed the food and just shared some sides. Would especially recommend the gyozas and the cauliflower!
Best competitor in town to compare with is double double. And double double smashes it out the park. I recommend going there instead, even though it’s on the other side of town. I visited Wagamama for the first time in Cambridge in 2008, and was very impressed with the Asian semi-fastfood concept. The move to Sweden has not been a huge success though. Lunches are way too expensive (same pricing as dinner) and the menu has too many dishes for the chef to make them all have the attention they need. It is always a bit off, too hot, too sweet, too salty… never really finds its way to justify the pricing. Bonus points for the Hitachino beer which I always enjoy! (Minus points for a greasy dirty glass last time I was there but hey, it happens, most waiters are **** these days post-Covid) Can’t really recommend, no soul. But this part of town has limited options. Updated from previous review on 2022-08-06
The staff at this restaurant was extremely friendly, and our waiter was knowledgeable about vegan options and helped us choose from the menu. The food was delicious, but not particularly memorable.
