Brasserie Balzac - Stockholm Sverige

Quite good good, very nice atmosphere with a complete letdown when it comes to service. Our maincourses was forgotten and so were we.. for a long time. Did not even get an excuse.

Ate at Balzac Brasserie Odengatan Stockholm. Friendly welcome. Saturday. Fully booked. Pleasant atmosphere and super nice staff. Especially our waiter “Fouad”. He took such good care of us and he has a great sense by of humour and knew very well how to treat his guests. We ordered stuffed chicken fillets with green beans and potato gratin. Every single mouthful was delicious. Even the “house wine ” was excellent. I can highly recommend Balzac for a pleasant evening out in Stockholm.

Great food and service. Only downside it was very difficult to have a conversation because the music was super loud, which in turn made everyone yell. The accustics are horrible for the people working there. Once you’re fairly tipsy the volume won’t bother you though Our sitting was at 18.30, but the volume was higher than a lounge at 23.00.

I had lunch with a client here earlier this week and came back for dinner with another client yesterday, because I liked it so much. Extremely professional staff, I was really impressed with them. Also excellent food and all in all a very joyful experience.
