Bap - Stockport

The restaurant now offers a full English breakfast on their menu. However, during my first visit to try it a couple of weeks ago, they were unable to cook it due to equipment issues. Today, when I attempted to order the breakfast, I was told they did not have eggs because they don't sell enough to justify ordering them. I ended up getting a partial English breakfast, which included bacon, two sausages, baked beans, and a toasted bap. Unfortunately, the baked beans were only lukewarm because they had just been heated up. Additionally, the butter pats for the toast were so melted that they oozed out as soon as they were picked up. It was disappointing that despite advertising a full English breakfast with eggs on the poster, they were unable to provide it due to a lack of egg stock. However, the coffee was excellent. Overall, it was a letdown as there are very few places in Stockport that serve early breakfasts around 8:00am.

I went to this café at around 7:45 in the morning. The service was excellent and the coffee was great. I had a nice chat with a friendly lady who is a regular customer, and the atmosphere was lovely. I then took my coffee and newspaper outside and spent a very relaxing hour there.

I stopped by this restaurant today for a quick bite to eat. Unfortunately, my baguette had mold on it when I took a closer look, and after reading other reviews, it seems this has happened before. The kind server gave us a full refund and we left.

Had a coffee and bap here, nothing special. To be honest, BAP seems to be copying the Subway model, so the bapping process is formulaic and designed to be as cost-effective as possible, with all humanity and love removed from the act of serving food. This does give you a cheap bap, but also a **** bap. Get what you pay for, I suppose.

The one think I always rate is Value for Money and this cafe certainly does not offer that. I used to go in for a wrap or a baked potato and would always come out disappointed by the amount of filling. I have even had an instance when a more senior member of staff came over and took some filling out of my wrap in front of me, as the junior member of staff had obviously breached the 'stingy filling ' rule! Very over priced for what you get and I would strongly advise eating somewhere else!
