La Capilla - Stockport

I brought my daughter to eat on Sunday and was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as we love Mexican food, but I was highly disappointed. The staff were not rude but quite unfriendly and the food took so long to come, coming out in dribs and drabs so one of us was eating when the other wasn't. The food was bland and tasteless but the worst was the fish tacos. They look awful on the plate and smelt strange, we ate bits but had to leave it as we couldn't stomach it. It wasn't cheap either and for the amount of food you get its actually ridiculous! We had stomach ache not long after and we're both sick when we got home. I wanted to complain whilst we were there but we were that uncomfortable we paid and left. I have since sent a complaint to the management and actually requested a refund as I'm really not happy! Yet to have a response but we definitely will not be going back. to your response yes someone did email me saying management from the restaurant we ate at would be in touch but as of yet no one has, so I am yet to have a response from the correct management team, there only was one email on the website. a week on and still no reply from management.....

Last week, I visited the new restaurant in Stockport Marketplace and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly, and I was pleased to see vegan options on the menu. The restaurant became quite busy while we were there, even on a Thursday evening, which shows it's a popular spot. We'll definitely be returning to try out their cocktails. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I highly recommend this place. They also have Taco Tuesdays and two cocktails for just £15! For those with dietary restrictions, the staff mentioned they can customize any order to accommodate your needs. Overall, it was a great brunch experience!
