It was our first time to this pub we had a lovely visit, made to feel very welcome.The Sunday lunch was fantastic great value for money ,gd quality food.staff were very attentive to our needs.recommend this pub to anyone who visiting the area. Must go and visit.....

Lovely stay and the staff couldn’t do enough for us especially Sam. Organised transport from the Wall, we had a nice room, enjoyed delicious food and friendly service from all. Thank you

Came here for Sunday lunch which looked nice I asked for lamb which to me wasn't cooked i know a lot of people Will judge me for this but it made me feel physical sick I couldn't eat it it was also luke warm the roast potatoes were very hard and had no taste and for the price it wasn't really worth the money £25 for two course's won't be back

I’m quite particular about my Sunday lunch and have an aversion to roast meat that appears to be almost “shaved” in slices. Thankfully this was not the case, my two slices of roast beef were thick slicked, pink and had some fat…..perfect for me, although I’m sure it could be served to your liking, on request. The veg selection was varied, fresh and well presented. The cauliflower cheese, from the extras was tasty too. The lunch service was busy, however the staff remained attentive and friendly. We all agreed it was probably the best Sunday lunch we’d experienced in Northumberland, other than at home of course It’s was my first visit, but won’t be my last.

The staff were so lovely and the food was great. David couldn't do enough to help us. A friendly pub.
