Hartburn Fish - Stockton-on-Tees

I have visited this restaurant multiple times, and I believe the quality could be improved as there were instances when the batter had fallen off the fish.

This local fish and chip shop provides gluten-free options for their cod and fish patties. I was pleasantly surprised when they also accommodated my request for gluten-free onion rings, even though they were not originally on the menu!

I called to take a lunch. ordered small cod and a bun. no lie, the cod was not bigger than a fish finger that was shattered in soggy batter. the brotbunker was dry without spread/butter. the whole fish fits in a half. of dry bun folded. if I had opened the box in the load, I would have asked for a refund.

The fish itself was beautiful, but the teig was very soggy, the big chips, if you could call them the bones were dry, not sure how old they were. I was a couple times, but that was a big disappointment, not the price worth...
