Hm Prison Cafe - Stockton-on-Tees

Marvellous full valet of the car. A delicious scone and cup of tea whilst I waited. Excellent service and everyone was so so friendly.

I cannot praise this place enough. I am visiting from Australia and have traveled all over the UK, and I must say that this restaurant has provided the best customer service I have experienced during my 3-month stay. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the food was also delicious. Congratulations to HMP The Grange!

Been going to the prison since it opened,we go at least two three times a week when we are walking the dog stop halfway along the walk for coffee sometimes have lunch or breakfast on a Sunday.they have not been open since March with the virus looking forwards to getting back .

The cafe is easy to find alongside the Prison perimeter fences near allotments and chicken coops. Walk past the car wash area and you will see the humble building serving as the cafe. There are plenty of places to sit, it is warm, clean and welcoming. We had a tasty quiche and salad generous portions. Followed by scones and cup of tea. The scones were obviously freshly baked and were delicious. The overall price offered very good value for money. If you are traveling around the area definitely give it a go and give the inmates a chance to improve their chances of gaining employment and making a positive contribution to society.

I met up with friends to get our cars cleaned and have breakfast at this restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. It's a lovely place, and I will definitely be going back soon.
