Gk Mongolian Bbq - Stockton

This restaurant has become a regular spot for my friends and me. We come here every other weekend, rain or shine. We prefer to go when it's less crowded so we can enjoy our meal in a quieter setting. The service is usually good; our soup and drinks are always brought to us promptly. However, during our last visit, there was a delay in receiving our drinks, soup, and potstickers at the end of the meal. When they finally arrived, the food had been overcooked. This was a first for us, so we will see how our next visit goes. My wife was not pleased, but overall, we still enjoy coming here.

It was good, the suppe was more salty than usual and the pot stickers were very cold.

I would give this a 3+ stars. only because of the food which was delish. However while I know this is a serve yourself establishment, the counter floor is disgusting. Sauce and vegetables everywhere. You have to be careful that you don't lean into the counter you will get it allll over yourselves. The wait staff was friendly, but the cooks are rude and come across like your bothering them.

We went during the dinner rush and it was a horrible experience. ? There was only one hostesses/bus person/waitress working the front. The place was packed and they sat my husband and I at the table right next to the line and the grilling station where it was extremely hot ? from all of the body heat of the people in line, the cookers, and the steam from our bowls ?. We were so miserable that we were trying to hurry up and eat just so we can go outside (in July) to cool off. This was absolutely the worst experience we've ever had at GK, and we usually enjoy eating here.

Mongolian beef is a great place to eat regardless of the time. My preference is the place in trinity park.
