I called around 7:50 to place a dine-in order, only to be informed that they don't accept phone orders for dining in, and that I would need to place my order in person. I understood their policy, but I was simply trying to ensure that we wouldn't be there past closing, since it might take us around 20 minutes to eat. After driving 20 minutes and arriving at 8:10, I was told they were no longer accepting orders. I couldn't believe it! Why wasn’t I informed about this when I called, especially since I mentioned I was planning to dine in? It felt like a waste of my time and effort, particularly when they had the opportunity to give me this information beforehand. I'm not upset that they stopped taking orders; I'm just frustrated that they were aware of my plans and didn’t mention anything about the impending cut-off. This situation could have easily been avoided, and I am truly disappointed in how the service was handled.
