I had the soup which was a minestrone and then the chickensoup. The service was very nice. The waitress was great.
I first been to an olive garden in the 90 's and I didn 't like it. I went back recently and the food was much better but very skimpy on the sauce. There is an electronic game on the table. It also has a beer wine list, deserts and games. Nowhere doesit tell you it 's $3.99 a game. I checked out a few games and when the check came, it blew my mind. I knew what I was going toorder and I was prepared to leave a 20% tip, like I always do unless service was awful. I did complain that there are no signsanywhere that says games are $3.99. The waitress says that 's just the way it is so I thanked her for the games because theycame out of her tip. I told her, that 's just the way it is . I did feel bad but there should be signs telling customers thegames are NOT FREE.
My dad got the steak and i had a bite, it was so damn salty. The waitress never came over to clear our plates until we finally had to flag her down and ask, even then she only took one plate at A table with 3 people. When it came time to pay my parentsdidn't feel comfortable paying on the tablet so she just took their card without bringing the bill first.
Luisa was our attentive and helpful server at Olive Garden in Stockton, California. Thr minestrone and fagioli soups were both delicious as were the herb garden salmon and spaghetti with meatballs. The manager came by to resolve an issue that aroseearlier and he handled it professionally.
Food was good. Pretty big portions. But the service seemed impatient. Like they were trying to get your answer and nothing else. I don?t know why customers would get treated like that, not everyone is a regular. They might need that extra minute to figureout what they want to order. This was my first time there and one lady blatantly ignored us walking in even though she washeading our direction (she was coming out of the hostess area, we assumed she was going to seat us). It was around 12 to 1.Maybe it was a bad time, but it?s not like we?re getting free food. We are paying and leaving a tip.
