I ordered the lemongrass grilled chicken Vermicelli noodle plate, and everything was delicious. In addition, the portion sizes were enormous! However, the service was missing. You are not welcomed when you enter, but you sign your party on a piece of paper. Someone comes after a while and checks the registration sheet and decides who to sit. Unfortunately, my family was right behind the unofficial sign-in table, so we had to deal with people who were next to us while we ate. Once you sit, you need to scan a QR code with your phone to view the menu. Personally, I despise when restaurants share this menu. We had a party of four, but only three water were given. We never got a fourth when nobody came to our table during our 40-minute meal. After completing our meal we waited patiently for the bill. But since it was my first time in Saigon Bay, I didn't know that a number was taken next to the table and we should wait in the line and report what table we ate after our meal to pay for it. This was a very inefficient and annoying process, as we had our 2 toddlers with us who were forced to stand before and after our meal and wait. In addition, there are no child size options except a children's pho that picky infants do not always decide to eat. The food is definitely worth the investment, but the customer service and lack of atmosphere leaves something to be desired. If Saigon Bay can concentrate more on their diving customers and less on their customers, I would definitely reappear. Until then, Togo orders seem to go the way.
The service is terrible. When we sat on our table, I asked for a high chair when I kept my 10-month old and they say they'll bring me one. Then 10 minutes goes by, we haven't had any menus yet?s came to our table at all, so I asked my daughter to ask her for menus, and she goes past in another 10 minutes they bring the menus, but no high chair yet do not take our order for drinks? Take our order for food, another 20 minutes will not be taken by a high chair. Nobody even comes to our table. In the meantime, other people come in and order to go and all their orders are placed, but we can't even get a server to help us, I will never be back. They fell out, almost an hour of my time, sat at a table without customer service.
The first and last time to eat and eat. There was a big fruit bug in my dipping sauce and I was told that the place always has fruit bugs. And part is pretty small, not worth the price. I know if I were to give them my sauce, they would take it on their backs and throw out the big out and bring it back to me so I could just eat without the sauce. That's sad? During the meal 2 flew around my food and one disappeared when it flew into my food. Besides, really nice employee.
Everything was good until our last order came to the wrong table. A few tables away from us and we see clearly that the customer had their spoons and forks in rice and touched the egg rolls. He came back and took her utensils from her plate and took the plate and brought them to our table. I told him if we could get a new one. He says no. I just didn't throw on the table and said we saw that the plate was touched. He always said no and no at this point I am about it. I usually don't write reviews, but I'm livid. I'm very disappointed.
Saigon Bay is my new favorite place to eat. It is fast food but still feels like home cooking?fresh and healthy options. I always get the BBQ pork and shrimp, and my children always get the fresh spring rolls. I love this place.
