I visited Cook for the first time tonight and I was very impressed with the service at this location. The food and atmosphere were both perfect.
Baby Russets is a fantastic English restaurant boasting an impressive menu. However, due to its immense popularity on weekends, it's advisable to make a reservation at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance. The talented team, including chef Dave Stubbs and front-of-house manager Steve Sayer, ensure a memorable dining experience. Interestingly, the restaurant's name, Baby Russets, is an anagram of the owner's last name.
The first chalkboard I saw, said: “Welcome back! we missed you!” this is typical of this restaurant that they treat like friends or family. noting had changed for our first post-blocking visit, the food and service were unpredictable. I had the lame with a fabulous sauce, and my wife had a scarf she loved. we both followed this with a beautifully subtle alkcake. our friends, two more couples, also reported the usual top-nash! we never had a bad meal there. a lot of luck for the next months we will be back as soon as they celebrate again.
Amazing food and really great value for money. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. All smiling and enjoying their jobs. We had a great experience here and look forward to coming back!
