This is a was diamond find, as the real ale is fab, they serve cheap food at the rear such as burgers and bacon butties, plus everyone is so friendly. Depends what club you support, I guess, but we were made to feel very welcome, so all the best to Port Vale this season in their quest to stay up. Cheers!
Went to this pub before the football yesterday (Northampton fan). Met a lovely couple who supported Port Vale and had a good chat with them. Lots and lots of ales, ciders and wines on offer. Staff were quick at serving and were very friendly even though it was super busy. There was a bbq in the garden serving oatcakes etc but unfortunately I couldn’t try one as they only accepted cash and I didn’t have any on me. Nipped in again for a pint after the match and got chatting to another couple of locals. A very friendly place! Thank you
Met a couple of friends in here for a catchup. Stayed a few hours drank a few pints. Nice little pub and toilets were surprisingly clean. The beer is well kept and the staff friendly
Visit arranged by Railtrail to this Titanic Pub. Because of numbers we were split into bubbles of 4/5 and on arrival shown to our respective tables. One seated we were presented with our pre orders choices of beers/ales. Served in individual glasses with cheese they were delicious. My favorite was the White Star at 4.5%. Those who ordered the reginal oatcakes said the were excellent. I did not try these! The service from the landlord and staff was impeccable. A Great visit Well Done Bulls Head and Railtrail.
A lovely atmospheric traditional pub. We received a great reception. The dogs got an even better reception. The Plum Porter narrowly beat the Last Porter Call in a great choice of Titanic ales. Guest beers also available. All kept in good form. Great bunch of locals drinking in there. It’s a shame there was no food on offer. We’ll be back soon.
