The Quarter Potbank - Stoke-on-Trent

REALLY DISSAPPOINTED Used to love the quarter in Hanley. Visited Potbank on Friday night group size 12. I appreciate Xmas meals and large groups not the best time to judge. Though it wasnt over busy, slow to clear in between courses, then made to feel uncomfortable as soon as pudding out. Male staff member then came and quite rudely taking payment. In real contrast to in past in Hanley. Main course was good however I thought starter and pud quality seriously underwelming. Had 2 non alcoholic drinks and 3 course I think £50 steep for this. Ushered off the table no mention of tea or coffee to end the meal.

We have frequented The Quarter several times and left positive reviews but today we had a very disappointing experience. The amount of noise, actually a cacophony (3 different music sources being played simultaneously at a more than medium volume) really encroached on our enjoyment. We'd booked for our Christmas get together and catch up and could hardly hear each speak! We raised it with the staff but nothing was done to improve our experience. So disappointing! Vegetarian options: Vegan selection excellent
