We were recommended to try the Sunday Lunch at The White Horse in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. We arrived at 1pm and were warmly welcomed, with a nice table already reserved for us. There were a few other tables with diners enjoying a variety of meals, from Sunday lunch to burgers. The restaurant was quite busy with takeout orders, but the selection of meats (turkey, beef, and gammon ham) was delicious. The vegetables were decent overall, with particularly tasty mashed potatoes, but the roast potatoes were disappointing - dry and overcooked. The lack of cauliflower was also a letdown. The quality of the food was average (canned potatoes were unexpected), and the meal cost £8.50, which felt a bit pricey. However, this wouldn't deter me from dining there again. In conclusion, the experience was okay - nothing exceptional, but everything was functional.
Fantastic Value For Money Great Atmosphere! Food served hot and cooked well. Delivery service available on Sundays for carvery.
For the price you can't complain but you have no reason to complain the food was delicious all served hot and was tasty I had turkey gammon and beef with my Sunday dinner with all the trimmings and all for £6 . The service provided was great and with a smile
The staff is nice, the pints are good, and the customers are friendly. It's a great place to stop for a few drinks. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
