The Commons - Stone Mountain

This is an excellent spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset! The outdoor seating area is lovely and offers a fantastic view of Stone Mountain. Alva provided outstanding service; she demonstrated great customer skills and handled the pressure well, especially given that the restaurant was understaffed. The food presentation was impressive, though I believe the burger could have been tastier. Overall, the food was just okay.

We have been camping here for the past three years, but this was my first time dining at the restaurant. We arrived early, around 3:30 PM, since we hadn't had lunch and weren't in the mood to grill. Our waitress, Gloria, was delightful and offered excellent menu suggestions. We began with the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. My husband ordered the fried grouper sandwich, and he loved it. I opted for the fresh arugula salad topped with grilled salmon, which was outstanding—the salmon was incredibly fresh. We will definitely return on our next visit!

We had a fantastic experience during our visit over the 4th of July weekend. The drinks at the bar were exceptional, and the fried green tomato appetizer was delightful. I ordered the salmon BLT while my husband chose the grouper, and we shared both dishes. My only regret is that we didn't have enough room to try the desserts, which looked incredible. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The view was unbeatable.

The call their sauce ?come back sauce? (becuase it?s so good you?ll wanna come back) and truly they should give that nickname to there hospitality and service. Our server was named Gloria and she has to been one of the best waitresses I?ve ever encountered. We both had the grouper sandwich and I had sweet peach tea. Very well done and portions are large. Will have to come back next time we?re in the area.

Demarco exceeds all expectations, if he is not already a manager he needs to be promoted. Courteous, funny, sweet, and professional. An experience made even better by his presence and attention to customer service. Thank you!
