However, the portion size of the Mexican Flag enchiladas was underwhelming. The ala carte tacos were hit and miss - the steak taco was bland, the shrimp taco was okay, and the Chile braised beef taco was too salty and tasted canned. We didn't have a chance to ask for more salsa as all the servers were busy playing trivia and working on the bonus round – they ended up placing third overall. Overall, we were disappointed with the service, food, and limited and overpriced menu. We will not be returning.
We waited for 45 minutes for our food, only to find that the nachos were cold and the enchiladas were too spicy to eat. We sent the food back and one of the new owners came out, insisting that the food was fine. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I should have known better when the restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night. Do not waste your time here.
It's been some time since I last dined at this restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Our server, Jimmy, provided top-notch service. The food was delicious too. They offer a brunch menu on Sundays. I tried the Western omelette and it was the best I've ever had. Overall, the food and service were fantastic!
If I wasn't starving when I got here I probably would not have finished my food. I got the shrimp enchiladas. The shrimp didn't taste fresh. Really tasted like it was pre cooked and heated shrimp from the package. The chips were great but a good bunch of them were on the stale side. The food was decent. If it wasn't for the shrimp I probably would've given the enchiladas a better score. The real kicker was my virgin margarita. 1. They charged me full price despite it not having liquor. 2. It tasted like straight mixer in a glass with ice. Unpalatable to say the least. Wouldn't come here again, definitely wish my friend and I went to glory days as originally planned. The staff was nice, our waiter was very polite but seemed uncertain about our menu questions.
Tacos ordered on the 15th of June 2022. 2 orders of Birria, one order of chorizo, and Tres Leches. The birria dip was salty and not hot. The tacos had two tortilla. One was soggy. One was almost crunchy. These were fresh but didn’t seem like it. The tres leches had rum or some type of alcohol. It was old for sure. Sour. Bad. Zero. Looked like it sat in the cooler for a week. Absolutely nasty. Order came Roth chips and salsa. The chips were good and fresh the salsa was solid. Just a bit of pepper and lime and it would have been perfect. The salsa was still good. The bar cooler was disgusting. The floor was absolutely gross. Sticky. All over. The bar top nasty. The sink at the bar area full of dirty dishes. I know the work force right now is trash. People make more money sitting at home or similar money pre Covid. But this taco spot is trash. The bar tender was nice. Greeted me after the two servers ignored me. But the bar tender greater me, informed me food was finishing up now and ran my card.
