The dishes are original and well-prepared, such as the foie gras poutine and the delicious seasoned steak tartare. The only downside is the high price of the wine, which may deter some customers from ordering it. It would be better if the prices were more affordable. Overall, the restaurant is a good value for the quality of food and service.
If you find yourself in Stoneham, be sure to check out Base Camp! They offer a unique bistro menu with options like the Native Burger and Seitan Croquettes. I ended up choosing the latter and it was simply delicious, especially with a side of carrot soup. The lunch menu mostly features vegetarian and light dishes, which are perfect for hot summer days. The portions were just right for me, but those with a big appetite might find them insufficient. However, meat lovers need not worry as the evening menu includes options like duck and beef. Don't hesitate to give this place a try, regardless of your dietary preferences!
Wow! That's how the owner of the cottage where we spent the night at stoneham had described the restaurant and we were not disappointed! What a surprise to find such a restaurant in this unexpected place! The quality and presentation of the dishes are close to what is found in some gastronomic restaurants. So yes it's a little more expensive than some other restaurants around the corner, and you're not going to eat huge quantities but for this quality it's worth a lot! and quantity level, with a flat entrance we no longer had hunger as we are good eaters.Mention to very good service, to the modern frame and decor (and to music) to cleanliness (we have the impression that everything is new,) to everything! Don't miss this address that you're at quebec or the pn of the cartier jacques, it's worth the detour. and we haven't tested everything (both drinks, desserts and also the shop. )
Beautiful little restaurant, very charming and good service. on this point, nothing to say. the problem is not in the dining room but in the kitchen. First, the dishes are too expensive for what is found in our plate. Onion soup. a cup of soup with three pieces of onion, a mini crouton and a almost absent cheese, no taste, very fade! For $8, I'd say it's almost laughing at us. the portions are very small for the price paid. Still good but we went out remaining on our appetite. I absolutely don't recommend this restaurant. Maybe to have a drink but no more. Go eat somewhere else.
The dishes were succulent and prepared with high-quality ingredients. It had been a while since I had enjoyed such a delicious meal made with simple ingredients bursting with flavor. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
