My Partner and I had been wanting to try this place for a while and since we are no longer dining out until further notice, we decided to try it on 1.14. 22. My Significant Other liked it more than I did. The garlic knots didn't have any flavor and they were cold. The spaghetti was room temperature and a bit rubbery in texture. The chicken was okay and wasn't overcooked. I think this might be the kind of place where it's better if you dine inand when we are able to do so, we'll give it another chance.
I wanted to like this restaurant, but it wasn't good. To start they dont have a full bar, and their house wine that they boast about has way too much tannin. We ordered the bruschetta to start, and that was disappointing. The bread was way too big and tasted like it was the frozen ones you buy from the grocery store and put in the oven. The tomato was old and not fresh at all, and the whole thing was drenched in cheese. Not a traditional bruschetta at all. We chose dinnerentrees that had a caesar salad to start, and that wasn't good either. The ingredients again just weren't fresh and the dressing had a terrible artificial taste. My partner ordered the chicken flourentine and I ordered the rib eyeDamabianca, medium. The chicken was okay, pretty basic, but my rib eye was well done and dry. They remade the plate, but then I got a raw steak. So that was the end of that. The waiter was nice and helpful, but based on the quality offood, I don't recommend going. Will you get huge portions of food? Yes. But is it good and worth the price? No.
Plus 5 more stars. This is NOT a chain. These prices are NOT chain prices. But let me tell you... It is worth every single cent! There were 4 of us. Great welcome, thanks Rudy. Our waiter Melick, was great. Really everyone was. Several other people serviced our table. We never went without, including another check in from Rudy to ask how things were. Nice to see teamwork like this. I had one of the four specials, ribeye steak on top of pasta with a sauce I could drink bythe glass and Portobello mushrooms that would have thrown themselves in the pan if they knew they would taste this good, and then just to take this over the top, lets add grilled shrimp to the plate. All fresh and masterfully crafted.Everything we had was amazing. Salads. Bread Uummmm. Mozzarella sticks. calamari (wow for taste and portion) tiramisu. Cannoli, if there wasnt someone's grandmother back there making these I'd be surprised. We were all planning the nextvisit before we left.....UPDATE had another visit with a few friends. Greeted by Rudy again always excellent always comes back to check and see how things were at your table and our waitress, and I'm sorry I can't remember her name but shewas really sweet and very attentive. Service here has always been very good. Great wine list... Got a couple of different dishes today I found them all as wonderful as the others. Pasta cooked to perfection. Incredible sauces. We tastedeach other's... there were three sauces to taste and all of them were incredible. We also shared the appetizer plate that had fried shrimp and mozzarella sticks and calamari... really great.... And let me tell you those rolls they bring tothe table... they hurt me. They hurt me bad. They hurt me because I couldn't stop eating them. We all thought they were fantastic... really super soft inside with a kind of a crusty little crispy outside just melted in your mouth it was soincredibly beautiful. Absolutely delicious! The best lobster ravioli I have had, and the calamari is perfectly prepared. Fresh pasta and garlic knots pair perfectly with entrees. Attentive service and cozy atmosphere.
Truly enjoyed the atmosphere, prompt service and delectable entrees. For today?s visit, we had the Chicken Parmigiana (warning: large portion) and the Tortellini Michelangelo. Both were absolutely delicious. The kitchen accommodated our special request for menu substitution of Alfredo vs marinara sauce on the pasta. The warm bread with oil and herb dipping sauce blend was well enjoyed as soon as we sat down. The soup was a perfect balance of smooth creaminess and zestykick. Our server was new (first day) but did not miss a a beat. Thank you, Cristian (Cris) for serving us today! We wish you all the best! Being from Georgia, we did not expect the sweet tea to match our expectations but were pleasantlysurprised! It was so good! The manager made a point to stop by our table twice to check in on our experience. All was truly wonderful. No complaints from our crowd! Next up: limited time new dessert to try!
