Morenita Barbacoa

Hands down the best menudo and barbacoa I’ve had in San Antonio. The tamales are also amazing and stuffed with meat. This place is to go and cash only and is a bit of a whole in the wall, but well worth the drive. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Definitely one of the hidden gem for those those love good food!

Barbacoa and flour tortillas were delicious! Prices have gone up and it is *cash only*. Definitely worth the drive and price.Parking: Parking is limited and can get packed quickly depending on time and day.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this, Molino, and to my great relief, it’s only gotten better. It seems that getting better would’ve been an impossibility but let me tell you it’s fantastic. Don’t give me started on the tamales, one of her tamales compared to someone else’s is like comparing a roasted chicken-to a roasted turkey!

Small dining area but great food. A bit pricey. Got 3 bean and cheese and 2 ham and egg. 2 teas and a coffee. Total was 26$ did not even get chips and salsa.
