Taquitos El Jefe

To say the least, its more the hype this taquitos have then what actually is. Lets start with what we actually liked; the aguas frescas are so delicious! My kids love the horchata, my husband the piña y yo la de pepino con limon. Haven't tried the rest yet but for sure try the aguas frescas! We ordered the quesabirrias in flour, thats how we like to make them at home so we ordered them in flour tortillas and let me tell you, they are not as good as everyone says they are. We personally did not like them, meat was juicy and well surved but needed more flavor to our liking, along with the consome. Husband ordered taquitos al pastor and he did not like them either; tortillas were over crispy and meat was dry had no pastor flavor and sadly the Salsas were also flavorless. But Now my son ordered an asada burrito and we all tried the meat; now that was really good asada meat! My son really enjoyed his burrito! Now down to dessert: my kids had been wanting to try their famous mini pancakes that have been hyping all over tiktok and insta. First of all overly priced $13 with around 12 pancakes, a scoop of ice cream, few chopped strawberries and banana, some Nutella, cool whip and powder sugar to ganish. Pancakes were dry and no sadly also flavorless, kids say my Sam's brand pancakes are way better, fluffyer and buttery. And with that been said thats why I say its more the hype to this place que lo que realmente sabe. We live 5 min for this place and we really wanted to love it to make it a usual pero no. Fue una cuenta de $100 y quiquito and we didn't enjoy it like we really would have like to. Mejor cosine en su casa.

Food and fruit drinks ARE FREAKIN DELICIOUS... Staff are very friendly.. Been there a few times now ??

Everything is so good the drinks are so fresh and yummy.

The asada and the pastor are delicious! We get our late night tacos once a week and it always hits the spot. The mini pancakes are great also!

Had their mini tacos while sober and they’re fire. Also had them while drunk and they’re still fire, only like 10 times bigger.
