This place is a hidden gem. The chicken and waffles is like eating cake. Gotta go for the Sunday brunch and try some award winning chili and other amazing dishes. I’ve never eaten anything here I didn’t like.

My wife and me dined here yesterday 12/142022 for brunch. First off let me tell you that upon walking in, could feel the positive energy. They had soothing jaZZ music from the band that ran through my body and brought me joy. Our server Sonny was very kind, good knowledge with menu and kept coming back to check on us. My OX tails were impressively cooked to perfection, I wanted to go back for seconds however I was just plain ole stuffed after my first serving. The Catfish was also tasty and the eggs and bacon were as fresh as from the farm. I will definitely come again on future visits to SA and will tell my friends to try it out if they come here. Loved supporting a GREAT black owner biz.

My husband and I, as well as our family friend came to eat here. I forgot the young lady's name, but she had the best service I ever seen. The food was cool, but the mashed potatoes was salty af! Oxtails should come with rice with all that yummy gravy! It gave a Mississippi pot roast vibe, but was still really good. My husband had the stuffed catfish, it wasn't cat or fishin so he sent it back to get the Oxtails. So good we brought it back home to Cali. It was cool for what it was!

Smothered steak oh so good. Cornbread is amazing and I don't like cornbread. It's always too dry but this was like a butter muffin. So good I ate every bite and they were fresh out of the oven. Highly recommend this place. The okra was great. Smothered steak rich in flavor, and the corn I will eat every bite

I cannot stop thinking about the shrimp and grits! My other 2 friends had different meals and they said their food was delicious, too. There was only one waitress on staff, but she was very friendly.
