Chippy's Fish and Chips - Stoney Creek

I ordered the fish and chips at this restaurant and preordered a double order. The fries and fish were excellent and really tasty. I would definitely order them again; the fish was delicious.

The buttered fish, which I believe is haddock, is consistently delicious at this restaurant - always fresh, hot, and flavorful. However, the fries are consistently undercooked. In the 12 years since I first discovered this place, I have never received crispy, perfectly cooked fries as they should be. They always seem to be soft and soggy. This is something the owner should address. On the plus side, the service is fast.

We absolutely adore their fish and chips. It tastes amazing and is very reasonably priced. We always order a double portion for the two of us for about $12.00. When we call in our order, it's usually ready in just ten minutes.

Maybe this place has changed, but rather tired, men sitting around watching T.V. having a drink. New to town, We thought it was a sit down. They were surprised when we came to eat there ..Anyhow they did provide us with a table, but the food was not up to standards. Never went back.

I have found fish n chips very expensive, everywhere! Then a neighbour suggested Chippys, which is just down the hill, from where we've lived for six years. I've been there twice recently and I love it! The fish is great, nice flavour and the fries are some of the best I've had. But the biggest surprise was the value. It's the best I've found. I highly recommend Chippys!
